Hello! This is Kennic. I'm a localborn Canadian. I have recently returned to Hong Kong. I have completed a BSc from Cardiff, and BArch and MArch (cum laude) at the Ecole Speciale d'Architecture (ESA) in Paris. As well as a diploma for advance French language and culture from the Institut Catholique de Paris. I have 10 years of experience working in schools/private tuition classes: St. George's School (Vancouver), PolyU HK, and ESA. I have taught students from age 5 to corporate executives. I am great at teaching the following subjects, including Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary Building, Grammar, General Writing, English Oral, Pronunciation, IELTS, TOEFL, French, school interview preparation, HKDSE, AP, IB, GCSE, IGCSE, SAT, Career Planning, Translation, and Graphic/Web Design. 本人專科補習英文，並於DSE英文科取得5*，專門針對英文底子較遜色的學生，為他們打好英文的根基，同時培養學習英文的興趣。學生範圍由幼稚園至中學，同時擁有YLE劍橋英文考試的補習經驗，(Starters, Movers, Flyers)，過往學生全部得到十五個盾以上成績。小學補習方面，過往例子有：學生就讀於聖公會聖馬太小學在補習前英文平均分只有30餘分，經過九個月的補習後，成績大幅上升至88分。可證本人有效的教學方法。同時本人有豐富的英文朗誦經驗，於中一至中六都有參加比賽，並於其中兩次得到冠軍。 本人更擁有2年多於傳統補習社之工作經驗，主要於補習社負責中、小學學生，專注英文科補習。 ⠴Ｏ本人豐富的英文專科補習經驗能有效幫助學生解決不同的英文學習難題。有別於傳統的教學方式，本人相信專注個人化的教學方式才能有效解決不同學習需要，透過針對學生的個人需要制作補習方針，務求善用補習時間，提高學生能力。併棄傳統學校填鴨式教學，以及不求甚解的風氣。致力解決個人化的學習需求。

Studied in SPCCPS/SPCC before transferring to The Lawrenceville School (boarding school in the USA). Incoming freshman at Cornell University planning to major in Chemical Engineering. Have taken Cambridge YLE Qualification exams, SSAT, TOEFL, SAT. Currently in Hong Kong until the semester starts.

I am currently a Bachelor of Arts undergraduate student that plan to major in English in University of Hong Kong. The bilingual education background that I have received in Singapore since primary school has honed on my capability to read, write, listen and speak English and Mandarin effectively. As such, I am able to teach English and Mandarin fluently. In addition, I have achieved grade B in GCE Mathematics A level Exam, grade A in GCE Mathematics O level Exam, Grade B in GCE Chinese A level Exam and grade A in GCE Chinese O level Exam. Given my excellent Mathematics and Chinese result, I am confident that I can guide my student along in problem solving and Chinese literacy skills. My work experience as a Student Care Teacher has helped to develop my skills in teaching and cultivating students in the field of academic. Hence, I am able to teach my student effectively.

In DSE, I achieved 5 with an asterisk in English overall, both my writing and speaking papers got 5 with a double asterisk. I also possess a CertTESOL, a widely recognised English teaching course. I am familiar with the DSE English module and the secondary school students' struggles in learning English. I am passionate about teaching children as well as adults. I always prepare custommade lessons and each of my students' needs which will help tackle their weaknesses and overcome any obstacles they face in their English learning journey.

I have taught different age of children and adults for more than 5years. I love to work with kids and knowing/ figure out what can make them learn better.I didn\\\\\\\'t work in the Hk education center because of I can\\\\\\\'t accept mostly of their systems are forcing/ pushing the kids and the kids couldn\\\\\\\'t even really kowning what are they learning.
