I have a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from the University of California, Irvine. I have US classroom teaching experience as a student teacher. I have been providing private English tutoring in Hong Kong and I taught English phonics (Letterland and Jolly Phonics), grammar, writing, interviewing and presentation skills for ages 3-12 at a local language center as a part-time teacher. I currently teach at another language center as a part-time teacher on top of my private tutoring. I have students at all ages from kindergarten to adult level on various English language skills. All my students love my phonics techniques to improve their oral skills. I also have plenty experience working in Corporate America before coming to Hong Kong. Therefore, I’m familiar with the business English language and work culture that my working students really enjoy learning and knowing! I have a bachelor degree in Linguistics and I had studied several different languages (French, Spanish, German and Japanese) so thatd make me a good language teacher! In addition to primary language of English, I’m also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. My work schedule is quite flexible and I’m available to start immediately. Thank you for your consideration.
