My name is Yee. I’ve learned oil painting, drawing, painting, watercolor, photography and ceramic. Watercolor is one of my favorites. I really enjoy the time when I am painting in watercolor, and it is the color responds on the paper to my personal emotional response to my subject. It is a master medium and there cannot be any hesitancy while painting. Art has taken many different forms over centuries, but has always been a way of expressing one’s feeling, emotions, thoughts and ideologies. The artist has no limits to their expression or materials used. In my pursuit for freedom, I have to travel to different nations. My search in what I was led me to visit different cities in China, ChingMai and Phuket in Thailand, Canada, the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Taiwan. Finally, in 2014, I arrived in the United States. The overall experience was fascinating and I have learned a lot.
