I have recently relocated to Hong Kong with a PhD from the Humanities Division of the University of Chicago and seek to take on a small number of private students. As a native English speaker who spent the last ten years in graduate institutions in both Canada and the US, I also possess more than ten years of teaching experience delivering a variety of courses to learners of all ages, levels, and backgrounds in Hong Kong. I was eventually invited to play bass for Brittany Paige at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), the largest annual music trade show in the United States and the world. Academically, I was honored to receive the Fook Kong Li scholarship at graduate school for my academic excellence. I am currently based in Hong Kong as I approach my last semester at the University of British Columbia; I will be graduating with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in the Theatre and Film Acting program, with a minor in psychology.
