Personal Statement Apart from study, I have joined many Extracurricula Activities to broaden my horizon and equip myself for the future. Joining the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps is one of the most useful ECA I have joint and I gained lots of skills in it . For example, the leadership skills from courses ;discipline trainings made me understand the importance of obedience; Skills in problemsolving and decision making from organising activities,which also sharpened my communication skills . I was promoted to be a Cadet Corporal in 2018 too. In 2017, I joined the shooting team in Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps . During the summer break of 2017 - 2019, I was selected to participate in the Inter Service Cadet Rifle Meeting (ISCRM) organised by the National Rifle Association and Council for a Cadet Rifle Shooting, in Bisley , the UK. ISCRM is a target rifle shooting competition for cadets from all around the world. Our team was able to rank in the middle among the total of over 300 teams although we have never practiced with the real one since there are only air rifles in Hong Kong, so it was a big challenge for us. During the journey, we have also made many friends from all around the world and I have valued a lot from their culture. I have joined the school prefect team since I was form 2 and was promoted to be a Head prefect in form 5. The prefect trainings and workshops have trained me with critical thinking and briefing skills for my future career . Being a Head prefect leading over 60 teammates, I played the role as a communication bridge between teachers in order to assist the school management and maintain the school in order. It is important to solve problems effectively and efficiently so I have to quickly figure out the best solution according to the situation. I am sure the knowledge and skills I learnt can help a lot in my future career and studies, also for my whole life.
